(1.) These Habeas Corpus Petitions are taken up together and disposed of by this common order as the impugned orders of detention came to be passed by primarily relying upon the ground case in which all the detenus are arrayed as accused.

The detenus are the petitioners in these petitions and challenging the impugned orders of detention, dated 27.12.2018, passed by the second respondent, under Section 3(1) of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug-offenders, Forest- offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982) and branding them as 'Goonda' in M.H.S.Confdl.Nos.156/2018, 157/2018, 154/2018 and 158/2018 respectively, came forward to file the present Habeas Corpus Petitions.
(3.) A perusal of the grounds of detention dated 27.12.2018 would disclose, among other things, that the detenus in H.C.P(MD)Nos.29, 31 and 36 of 2019, came to be adverse notice in the following cases:
