JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Writ Petition has been filed, praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the Award dated 31.08.2017 passed by the first Labour Court Chennai in I.D.No.112/2009 and quash the same.

(2.) For the sake of convenience, the parties are hereinafter referred to as 'the Management' and 'the workman' respectively.

(3.) The facts and circumstances which led to the filing of the present Writ Petition, are briefly stated as under:
