(Prayer: This petition has been filed seeking for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent and his men, agents or subordinates to issue patta for the gift settlements as allotted by Government in accordance with law under various Freedom Fighters Scheme.) This petition has been listed under the caption "For Dismissal", since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, on an earlier occasion, i.e., on 17.04.2009. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
