JUDGEMENT

(1.) The order of rejection dated 20.01.2016 in respect of the claim of the writ petitioner for third incentive increment for possessing M.Ed., Degree is under challenge in this writ petition.

(2.) The writ petitioner acquired Pulavar Course(5 year Course) in Tamil during the year 1973, B.Lit., (Tamil) during the year 1976. She joined as Tamil Pandit on 21.11981 through Employment Exchange. The petitioner admits that she was awarded with two incentive increments for possessing the higher qualification of B.Ed., and M.A., degree. She also acquired M.Ed., degree in the year 1991. Thus, the writ petitioner claims that she is entitled for a third incentive increment for possessing M.Ed., degree in the year 1991.

(3.) The entire case of the writ petitioner rest on the ground that the similarly placed persons, who served in the promotional cadre of P.G.Assistant were sanctioned with the third incentive increment on acquisition of higher qualification of M.Phil., Degree. Thus, the same benefit is to be extended to the writ petitioner also.
