JUDGEMENT

(1.) Impugning the judgment and decree dated 16.08.2004, passed in A.S.No.31 of 2000, on the file of the Subordinate Court, Ariyalur, reversing the judgment and decree dated 12.07.1999, passed in O.S. No.290 of 1996, on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Ariyalur, the abovesaid second appeals had been preferred respectively by the second defendant and the first defendant.
