JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct Adalum Padalum cultural program in Arulmigu Oorkavalan Temple Festival in Villiyarendal Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District on 31/7/2018 based upon petitioner's representation dtd. 20/7/2018.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

(3.) Taking into consideration the facts of the present case and the fact that such programmes are being organized and conducted in every village all over the state, this Court is of the view that preventing the petitioner from conducting such programme in this particular village will amount to discrimination.
