JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to grant permission to the petitioner's organization to conduct public meeting on 15.09.2018.

(2.) The petitioner made an application to the second respondent Police seeking for permission to conduct a public meeting and the same was rejected by impugned order, dated 17.08.2018. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

(3.) A counter-affidavit has been filed by the third respondent in this Writ Petition, wherein the reasons for refusing to give permission for the meeting has been stated as is extracted hereunder:-
