JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 09.04.2018 at night from 09.00 to 01.00 hours in connection with "Panguni Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Alagamman Kovil, at Meenakshipuram village, Vempakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2018.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court, by the order dated 24.07.2017, in WP(MD)No.13517 of 2017, passed an order, directing the respondent therein to consider the representation of the petitioner, subject to certain conditions and any other reasonable restrictions that may be imposed by the respondent in the interest of public and to preserve the law and order.
