JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mrs. R. Hemalatha, learned Senior Standing Counsel for the appellant and Mr. R. Sivaraman, learned counsel for the respondent.

(2.) These tax case appeals have been filed against the common order of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal 'C' Bench, Chennai dated 19.08.2002 in ITA Nos.1934/Mds/95, 263/Mds/95, 2257/Mds/96 and 2258/Mds/95 for the assessment years 1992-1993, 1991-92, 1992-93 and 1993-94 respectively.

(3.) The above appeals have been admitted on the following substantial questions of law:-
