JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct the "Adal Padal dance programme" on 05.04.2018 between 07.00pm to 10.00pm on the eve of the Panguni Urchava Festival in "Sri Bagavathi Amman Thiru Kovil and Sri.Vinayagar Thiru Kovil" situating in Anaipatti, Mullipadi Village, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court, by the order dated 24.07.2017, in WP(MD)No.13517 of 2017, passed an order, directing the respondent therein to consider the representation of the petitioner, subject to certain conditions and any other reasonable restrictions that may be imposed by the respondent in the interest of public and to preserve the law and order.
