JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

(2.) THOUGH the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.1.96, is directed to be disposed of by the third respondent, in view of G.O.Ms.No.64, Environment and Forest Department, dated 8.3.99, on merits, within a specified period.
