JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed, seeking to quash the order of the fourth respondent,dated10.05.2016 in O.Mu.No.1454/A3/2016, on the file of the fourth respondent and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to accord approval to the appointment of the Petitioner A.Christhuraj, working as Watchman in St.Gabriels Girls Higher Secondary School, Pasupathikoil, Thanajavur District - 614 206, w.e.f.1.4.2016 with all monetary and other service benefits.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

(3.) The petitioner has appointed one A.Christhuraj, working as Watchman in their school,w.e.f. 1.4.2016 which is a non-minority school. The petitioner forwarded the proposal of approval of appointment on 22.4.2016. The eligibility of the petitioner to the post of Watchman is not in dispute. By the impugned order, the 4th respondent has returned the proposal, stating that the said post can be filled only after obtaining prior permission from the Director of School Education.
