JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS writ petition has been filed challenging the Notification, dated 15. 9. 1997, issued by the Registrar i /c & Returning Officer, Bharathidasan University for the Election to the senate by the registered graduates.

(2.) THE learned counsels appearing for the respondents had submitted that after the filing of the writ petition, the Election had been conducted and the fourth and fifth respondents had been elected.
