JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the provisional selection list for the post of Health Inspector Grade-II dtd. 13/1/2026 as the petitioner's name has not been included in the selection list.

(2.) The petitioner is an Ex-service Man, who served in the Army Medical Corps for 30 years and was honourably discharged in the year 2023. He has applied for the post of Health Inspector Grade-II pursuant to the Notification No.16/MRB/2025 dtd. 27/10/2025 under the category of Ex-service Man. He claims that he has secured the cut-off marks and also participated in the certificate verification process on 6/1/2026. However, his name has not been included in the provisional selection list published on 13/1/2026, wherein, it has been stated that no eligible Ex-service Men were available and those posts have been allotted to the general candidates of the respective communal category.
