PRADEEP KUMARN Vs. STATE

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22/12/2025 for the alleged offences punishable under Ss. 296(b), 126(2), 311, 310(2) of BNS, in Crime No.726 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

(2.) The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner joined hands with other accused involved in snatching mobile phone of the de-facto complainant. Hence, the case has been registered and the petitioner has been arrested on 22/12/2025.

(3.) The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been arrayed as an accused in this case for statistical purpose and he has not involved in this case and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody from 22/12/2025 and now, he is ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court. He further submitted that the co-accused was released on bail by this Court in Crl.OP.No.4034 of 2026 dtd. 18/2/2026. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
