JUDGEMENT

(1.) The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the village cultural programme i.e., Adal padal on 08.06.2016 at 07.00 pm to 11.30 pm in the eve of Arulmighu Sri Santhana Mariamman Kovil at Mullikulam village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2016.

(2.) Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

(3.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
