JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed to call for the entire records in C.C. No. 353 of 2015 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu and quash all further proceedings against the petitioner/accused.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

(3.) The complainant inspected the medical shop of the petitioner on 17.09.2014 and lifted samples of "C-Sal Expectorant (syrup of Terbutaline, Bromhexine and Guaiphenesin) Batch No:CSL 103, Mfd. Dated Jan/2014, Exp. Dated Dec/2015 and sent one sample to the Government Analysis for Analyst's report. The report dated 09.02.2015 given by the Government Analyst stated that the subject drug was not of standard quality, as it does not conform to the label claim with respect to the content of Terbutaline Sulphate.
