JUDGEMENT

(1.) The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to give necessary police protection and permit the petitioner to conduct Adalum Padalum cultural program during Arulmigu Kaliamman Thirukovil Pongal festival V.Ammapatti, Kallupatti Post, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, on 11.06.2016 and consider the petitioners representation dated 05.06.2016.

(2.) Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

(3.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
