JUDGEMENT

(1.) The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give necessary police protection and permit the petitioner to conduct the ?Adalum Padalum? Cultural Dance Program scheduled on 12.06.2016 at 6.00 p.m., in Arulmighu Varatharayar Perumal Kovil and Sithivinayagar Kovil festival, Kanjamanayakkampatti, Mushtakurichi Post, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

(2.) Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

(3.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
