K.CHELLAM Vs. THE ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Since the issue involved in both the writ petitions are one and the same, they are taken together and a common order is passed.

(2.) W.P.(MD).No.3874 of 2015 is filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the first respondent therein to give service connection to the petitioner temple, namely, Sri.Alagunatchiamman Temple situated at V.Karisalkulam Village, Vayalcheri Post, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhungar District, by considering his representation dated 20.01.2015. Similarly, W.P. (MD).No.90 of 2015 is filed for a Mandamus not to give electricity connection to the said Temple.

(3.) In the other writ petition filed by one private individual, he objects for granting electricity connection to the temple by contending that the temple is situated in the Government poramboke land.
