V.VAIYANAN Vs. THE DISTRICT COLLECTOR

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner is working as P.G.Assistant Teacher in Arulmighu Senthil Andavar Boys Higher Secondary School, Thiruchendur, Tuticorin District. His grievance is that he is entitled to Rs.1,400/ - as H.R.A. as per G.O.Ms.No.234, Finance (Pay Cell) dated 01.06.2009. But, he is paid only Rs.1,000/ - per month as H.R.A.. He made representation dated 05.05.2015. Since the same is not yet considered, he has approached this Court by filing the writ petition.

(2.) The learned counsel for the petitioner brought to my notice the proceedings dated 23.10.2015 issued by the Assistant Treasury Officer at Tiruchendur stating as follows:

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has made representation to the District Collector to pass appropriate orders granting H.R.A. at Rs.1,400/ - per month in accordance with G.O.Ms.No. 234, Finance (Pay Cell) dated 01.06.2009. Postal acknowledgment is also enclosed at page 87 of the typed set of papers.
