JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS revision is preferred against the order of the Principal District Judge, Erode (dated 17. 4. 2002) made in I. A. No. 341/2001 in Election O. P. No. 120/2001. The third Respondent is the Revision Petitioner.

(2.) THE first Respondent Munnusamy Naidu filed Election O. P. No. 120/2001 on the file of the District Court, Erode. In the said petition, he has prayed for a declaration that the election of the returned candidate is void and also for declaration that the first Respondent has been duly elected. The Revision Petitioner/second Respondent in the Election O. P. filed a counter statement resisting the application.
