(1.) THE petitioner claims that she did her B.Ed Course in Vysya College of Education in Salem District (the second respondent herein), which is affiliated to the first respondent. According to the petitioner, she did the said course in Tamil Medium, but in the Transfer Certificate, issued by the second respondent (Enclosed at page 3 of the typed set of papers), the same has not been mentioned. Now the petitioner has passed the TET Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board. At the time of selection, the petitioner will get the benefit of special reservation for candidates studied in Tamil Medium. In order to get the said benefit, the petitioner is in need of the certificate from respondents 1 and 2, thereby, certifying that the petitioner did her B.Ed Course in Tamil Medium. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 15.05.2014. But the first respondent, by letter dated 16.05.2014 has expressed his inability to issue such a certificate, because no such certificate has been so far issued by the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.
(2.) THIS writ petition has come up today for admission. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Considering the urgency in this matter and considering the fact that the order that I pass will not in any manner be prejudicial to respondents 1 and 3, I proceed to dispose of this writ petition without even ordering notice to respondents 1 and 2.
(3.) IN the result, the writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to verify the records of the College and to issue a certificate to the petitioner in respect of the medium of instruction, which she had in her B.Ed course between 19.11.2007 and 20.05.2008 and the second respondent College should forward the said certificate to the first respondent and on receipt of the same, the first respondent shall issue appropriate authenticated certificate to the petitioner in respect of the medium of instruction in the B.Ed Course. It is further directed that on production of a copy of this order by the petitioner, the second respondent shall forward the certificate within two days thereafter to the first respondent and the first respondent, in turn shall verify the records and issue the same within a further period of four days. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
