JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioners in this Criminal Revision Case are the accused ranked as A.2 and A.4 in Cr.No.47 of 2014 on the file of the Othakkadai Police Station, Madurai. The petitioners were arrested on 10.03.2014 and 13.03.2014 respectively.

(2.) The case was registered based on the complaint of P.Sivathanu, Store Manager of Reliance Market, Uthangudi, Valar Nagar, Madurai. Based on the said complaint a First Information Report was registered. In the complaint it had been stated that on 11.02.2014 at 15.15hrs, their security personnel found an iron pipe bomb along with a Maaza cool drinks plastic bottle containing 1500ml petrol, under suspicious circumstances at the backside of Reliance Market building.

(3.) During the course of the investigation, the police were able to identify a number of persons and the petitioners herein were shown as A.2 and A.4 in the case diary file. They were arrested by the police on 10.03.2014 and 13.03.2014 respectively and were produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur for remand along with the remand report.
