JUDGEMENT

(1.) ACCORDING to the Petitioner, he is the Committee Member of Arulmigu Sundharavalli Amman Temple situated at Thenur Village, Madurai District. Every year, festival is being conducted in a grand manner during purattasi month for the past 50 years in a peaceful manner.

(2.) THE Villagers of the Petitioner's Village have arranged for a cultural event in the form of 'Adal Padal programme' on 27/10/2014 at Arulmigu Sundharavalli Amman Temple situated at Thenur Village, Madurai District.

(3.) PER contra, the Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that if the permission is granted to the Petitioner to conduct 'Adal Padal programme'/festival scheduled to take place on 27/10/2014 at the petition mentioned Temple in Arulmigu Sundharavalli Amman Temple situated at Thenur Village, Madurai District, then there is a possibility of cropping up of law and order problem. As such, the Petition/Representations dated 11/10/2014 and 16/10/2014 given by the Petitioner is pending without disposal.
