JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to conduct cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) at Thimirikottai, Kosavanthittu Mariyamman Temple Ground in the event of Madathur Village, Sathurapalayam Arulmigu Sree Vaitheeswaran Temple Festival at Sangakiri Taluk, Salem District on 2/4/2023, at 6.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M, by considering the petitioner's representation dtd. 13/3/2023.

(2.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in order to conduct the cultural programme in the event of Madathur Village, Sathurapalayam Arulmigu Sree Vaitheeswaran Temple Festival at Sangakiri Taluk, Salem District on 2/4/2023, the petitioner has sent a representation, dtd. 13/3/2023 to the respondent Police. But, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

(3.) The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondent police has received the representation of the petitioner and the same is pending for consideration.
