JUDGEMENT

(1.) The parents filed the claim petition for compensation, claiming a sum of Rs.3,00,000/-.

(2.) The deceased Murugan, aged about 13 years, employed as Helper in Lining works, earning a sum of Rs.75/- per day, died in an accident that took place on 12.06.2000.

(3.) The claim petition was allowed by the Tribunal and the parents were awarded a sum of Rs.1,74,500/-, as compensation. Aggrieved over the quantum of compensation, the parents have filed this Appeal.
