JUDGEMENT

(1.) With the consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

(2.) The petitioner was working as B.T. Assistant (Zoology) in Government Boys High Secondary School at Pallipalayam in Namakkal District. He has joined the service on 02.01.2009. His retirement on superannuation falls on 30.6.2013. Further, the service of the petitioner is without any blemish.

(3.) According to petitioner, he shall be continued in service till the end of the academic year 2013-2014. He made a representation dated 17.4.2013 along with fitness certificate to continue him in service. But no order is passed and he now, is on the verge of retirement. In the circumstances, he has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to give him re-employment till the end of the academic year 2013-2014 i.e, 31.05.2014 as a B.T. Assistant (Zoology) in Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Pallipalayam, Namakkal District.
