A.KRISHNAN Vs. PRINCIPAL CHIEF CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner joined as Social Forestry worker in the Sriperumpudur Range of Social Forestry Division on 1.1.1984.

(2.) THE Government issued G.O.Ms.No.64, Environment and Forest Department, dated 8.3.1999 in respect of Statewide seniority list of Social Forestry Workers / Plot Watchers working in the Forest Department.

(3.) THE name of the petitioner was not included in the Statewide seniority list. In these circumstances, though he rendered more than 20 years of service, he was not continued in service. He was also not appointed as plot watcher, while his juniors were appointed as plot watchers. The reason for the same is that the name of the petitioner was not included in the Statewide seniority list of social forestry workers / plot watchers.
