JUDGEMENT

(1.) The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct 'Valli Thirumana Nadagam' on 11/5/2022 at 06.00pm., to 11.00pm., in connection with 'Chithirai Pongal Thiru Vizha' of Arulmigu Sri Antharanatchi Ammal Thirukovil at Kottaiyirruppu, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

(3.) Thecase of the petitioner is that the petitioner has made an application before the second respondent on 5/5/2022 seeking permission to conduct Valli Thirumana Nadagam, but no order or permission has been granted.
