JUDGEMENT

(1.) Seeking directions to the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners in the post of High School Headmaster and to include the names of the petitioners in the panel for promotion to the post of Higher Secondary Headmaster above the immediate junior and for consequential service and monetary benefits on part with the juniors, these writ petitions have been filed.

(2.) Since the issue involved in all these writ petitions are the same, all the writ petitions are clubbed together and taken up final disposal.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners were all appointed as BT Assistant (Telugu) and BT Assistant Tamil. For appointment to the post of BT Assistant (Languages), a Bachelor degree in the language along with Diploma in Teacher Education/Pandit training Certificate are sufficient. Subsequently, while in service the petitioners herein acquired B.Ed., which is the requisite qualification for the next promotion of High School Headmaster.
