JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24/7/2022 for the offences punishable under Ss. 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 22(c), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.280 of 2022 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

(2.) The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused was found to be in possession of 1.100 kgs of dry Ganja, Methamphetamine-8 g, 1200 Nitravet Tablet (12g) and 1.200 kg of dry Ganja. Hence, the case.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence. He would submit that the contraband recovered from the petitioner is a non commercial quantity. The petitioner was arrested on 24/7/2022 and he is custody for more than 90 days. The petitioner is aged about 23 years. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
