JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner passed M.Sc., in Marine Bio-Technology Course from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in 1998. She did her M.Phil in Marine Bio-Technology from the same University in the year 2000.

(2.) THE respondent called for the post of Lecturer in various Departments for the year 2008 � 2009. She applied for the post of Lecturer (Zoology). She was called for certificate verification and she was provisionally selected, but her appointment was withheld. She came to know on enquiry that the result was withheld on the ground that Post Graduation degree obtained by the petitioner is not equivalent to M.Sc., Zoology.

(3.) HENCE , the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to direct the respondent to issue appointment order to the petitioner for the post of Lecturer (Zoology) for the year 2008 � 09.
