JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioners are Graduate promotee Assistants. THE second respondent, the District Collector of Ramanathapuram District, has prepared a panel dated 20.05.2011 of Assistants fit for promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar. THE Panel was to fill 44 vacancies.

(2.) ACCORDING to the petitioners, as per the panel 37 vacancies have to be filled by Graduate promotee Assistants and the 7 vacancies have to be filled by Non Graduate promotee Assistants.
