JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner completed Polytechnic Course in Computer Science in Register No.10508349 from Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College, Sivakasi.

(2.) AS per the Regulation of admission to B.E., course, the petitioner is eligible for admission in the second year B.E. course in the Government, Government Aided and Self-financing Engineering Colleges under the Lateral Entry Counselling.

(3.) THE petitioner obtained necessary application form under "Scheduled Caste" category. The result of the final year polytechnic examinations was declared on 17.06.2012, but the petitioner was shown to have failed in Multimedia Paper (Subject-3). The petitioner applied for revaluation on 18.06.2012. In view of the result showing the petitioner as having failed in Multimedia Paper (Subject - 3), the petitioner did not apply for admission by 25.06.2012. The revaluation result was declared on 19.07.2012, in which the petitioner was shown to have passed in Multimedia Paper (Subject � 3) also.
