JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE above writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the second respondent in his Proceedings Na.Ka.No.E4/3728/99 dated 1.10.2000 quash the same and direct the respondents to pay Tamil Scholar pension to the petitioner as per the payment of Pension to Tamil Scholars and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1983 from the date of legislation.

(2.) THE claim of the petitioner for grant of Tamil Scholar pension was rejected by High Level Committee in its meeting held on 6.12.1999 on the ground that the application submitted by the petitioner was not supported by valid and proper certificates.
