JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner prays for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith issue compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship Training Certificate etc., to enable him to register as registered medical practitioner as well as pursue post graduate course on the basis of community certificate issued in favour of the petitioner on 29.6.1995.

(2.) The respondent has been served. The respondent appeared through Mr.T.S.Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader (Education).

(3.) With the consent of counsel for either side the writ petition itself was taken up for final hearing.
