JUDGEMENT

(1.) Referred trial (R.T.) No.1 of 2021 is a reference made by the IV Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai (for brevity the trial Court) under Sec. 366 Cr.P.C., for confirmation of the death sentence awarded to the accused in S.C.No.291 of 2013 vide judgment and order dtd. 3/3/2021. Crl.A.No.131 of 2021 is an appeal under Sec. 374(2) Cr.P.C. filed by the accused challenging his conviction and sentence in the aforesaid Sessions Case.
