JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioners, in the writ petition, seek promotion to the post of Commercial Tax Officer on par with other employees by claiming that the petitioners are seniors to the persons already promoted.

(2.) IT is not in dispute that before approaching this Court, the petitioners made representation to the State Government, seeking the relief claimed.
