JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

(2.) AT this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the respondent is directed to dispose of the application, dated 22.02.2011, in respect of the petitioner's vehicle, bearing No.TN-72-3112, taking into consideration the Government Letter, bearing letter No.9091/F2 2000, dated 29.11.2000, on merits, within a specified period.
