JUDGEMENT

(1.) WRIT Petition No.7668 of 2011 is filed praying to issue a WRIT of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 2.3.2011 issued by the petitioner favourably and renew the existing lease in respect of the shop bearing No.1 for further period.

(2.) WRIT Petition No.7669 of 2011 is filed praying to issue a WRIT of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 2.3.2011 issued by the petitioner favourably and renew the existing lease in respect of the shop bearing No.2 for further period.

(3.) PETITIONERS are licensees of individual shops as above in the respondent municipality. They stated that the term is to expire by 31.3.2011 and sought for renewal of licence on payment of appropriate charges. In this regard a representation has been made by each petitioner on 2.3.2011.
