JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Second Appeal is focussed by the original defendant animadverting upon the judgment and decree dated 27.08.2007, passed in A.S.No.118 of 2006 by the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Tenkasi in confirming the judgment and decree dated 15.03.2005, passed in O.S.No.13 of 2003 by the learned Additional District Munsif, Tenkasi.

(2.) The parties, for the sake of convenience, are referred to hereunder according to their litigative status and ranking before the trial Court.

(3.) A recounting and recapitulation of the relevant facts absolutely necessary and germane for the disposal of this second appeal would run thus: The plaintiff, filed the suit for evicting the defendant from the suit property and for recovery of arrears of rent on the main ground that the defendant entered into the suit property under the plaintiff as tenant, agreeing to pay an annual rent of Rs.8,054/- regularly and promptly, whileso, the defendant committed default in payment of the same, whereupon the tenancy was terminated.
