JUDGEMENT

(1.) By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

(2.) This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 24. 12. 2019, rejecting the request made by the petitioner for approval for re-employment of the petitioner in the Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Pernamallur.

(3.) The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a B. T. Assistant in the year 2007 and he was taking Social Science Classes. The superannuation of the petitioner fell on 31. 12. 2019. Therefore, the petitioner had made a representation on 09. 11. 2019, though the concerned School to extend his service till the end of the academic year. For this purpose, the petitioner had relied upon G. O. Ms. No. 261, dated 20. 12. 2018. The representation made by the petitioner was also recommended and forwarded by the Headmaster of the concerned School.
