(2.) This writ petition is filed with the following prayer:

(3.) The petitioner originally was appointed as Assistant in the year 1990 and was promoted to the post of Assistant Sec. Officer in the year 1994. He was further promoted to the post of Sec. Officer in 2006 and again promoted to the post of Under Secretary in 2012 and finally promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary in 2018. The petitioner reached the age of superannuation on completion of 58 years of age, on 25/5/2020 and hence, due for retirement on 31/5/2020.
