(1.) The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 147, 324, 363 & 506 (i) of IPC in Crime No.467 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
(2.) The case of the prosecution, as per the defacto complainant viz., Vijayakumari is that her brother one Manikandan had eloped with one Tejasree D/o. Ravichandran. Ravichandran/third petitioner along with other accused came to the house of the defacto complainant to find out his daughter and she was not there in house of the defacto complainant. Hence, the petitioners threatened the defacto complainant and attacked her husband. Hence the complaint.
(3.) The learned Counsel for the petitioners would submit that the defacto complainant's brother had abducted the daughter of the third petitioner. Other petitioners who are relatives, have gone to the house of the defacto complainant to find out the daughter of the third petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
