JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr.V.O.S.Kalaiselvam, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent, as well as Mr.R.Saravanan, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent.

(2.) At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent had submitted that the writ petitioner had died, on 29.06.2010. He had also placed a copy of the Death Certificate, issued by the Tahsildar, Usilampatti, on 08.09.2010, in support of his submission.

(3.) In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent, this writ petition stands closed, as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
