JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner joined the B.U.M.S. (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) Course and completed the same in the year 2000 and he was awarded with B.U.M.S. (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery).

AS per the regulations for the Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery Degree Course of the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University, Chennai-32, for the academic year-2004-2005, the main course is for 4 = years duration and the candidates have to study the following subjects:- I. (a) 1st Professional Course:

(3.) THE petitioner would state that he is prescribing Unani medicines for his patients. But at the same time, in case of emergency, he also prescribes allopathic medicines to his patients. According to the petitioner, allopathic medicine and treatment is given to the patients only to the limited extent in accordance with the teaching and training given to him during the course of his study.
