JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned advocate Mr.J.F. Mehta for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr.Manan Mehta for the respondent - State.

(2.) Petitioner has prayed to set aside order dated 11th October, 2017 passed by respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Schools & Mid-Day-Meal whereby it is provided that petitioner is entitled to the lump sum compensation on compassionate basis under the policy Resolution dated 05th July, 2011 and further that whenever the District Education Officer, Junagadh, submits the proposal in that regard, the same would be sanctioned for the petitioner.

(3.) The petitioner's father was Junior Clerk working under respondent No.4 school - Saraswati Vidhya Mandir, Junagadh, who died on 07th June, 2006 after rendering 19 years of service. The family consisted of mother, two daughters and the petitioner himself, as averred by the petitioner.
