JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE issue involved in this group of petitions is common and, therefore, they are heard together and are disposed of by this common judgment.

(2.) THE petitioners, by way of these petitions, have prayed to direct the respondents to consider their case for promotion to the higher post with effect from the date their immediate juniors were considered for such promotion.
