JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned advocate Mr.B.Y. Mankad for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr.Rasesh Rindani for the respondents.

(2.) By filing the present petition under Article 226 and invoking Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution, the petitioner has prayed to direct the respondents to give to her senior scale and selection grade, and consequential financial benefits with interest. It is prayed to grant such benefit on the lines of Resolution dated 27th December, 2012 whereby similarly placed persons came to be granted the said benefit.

(3.) Noticing the relevant facts, petitioner joined her services with Government Akhandanand Ayurvedic College, Ahmedabad - respondent No.4 herein, on the post of Demonstrator with effect from 24th February, 1964. The petitioner was promoted as Lecturer from 29th June, 1972. The petitioner retired voluntarily from the post of Lecturer on 31st August, 1999. Thus the petitioner served on the post of Lecturer for 27 long years.
